These two neighbourhoods are often confused in real estate listings. The two neighbourhoods cover the block bounded North- South by Dundas and Upper Middle, and Ninth line and Trafalgar Road (E-W). The division between the two neighbourhoods runs south from Dundas along Eighth Line, East along Glenashton and then south on Grand Blvd until it meets Upper Middle.
These neighbourhoods have for the most part been developed recently and consist of several developments of townhouses interspersed with larger million dollar homes. The townhouses range from compact models for the high $400,000s to large executive models on ravine lots for the high $800,000’s.
In my view these two areas encompass everything that is good about Oakville real estate and everything that is not so good. There are some beautiful streets where the natural beauty of the surroundings have been sympathetically included in the developments, and there are other parts where it is hard to find a tree and the yards of even quite large houses are very small and sometimes badly overlooked. However this is an extremely popular part of Oakville for young families, mostly because the modern housing provides easy, low maintenance living.
Prices currently range from $349,777 for a 1 bedroom condo apartment to $1,899,000 for a 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom home with saltwater pool and waterfalls.
